You are a product of your mindset not your circumstances.

Your whole life can change from just one decision

by Sylvie Tamanda

One thing is certain, and thatā€™s the fact that life is hard!

We go through stuff, and we sometimes wonder who we offended in the spirit realm.

We ask God “why” it happened to us, as though we had a list of other people it should have happened to instead.

Someone once said “everything good will be attacked”, therefore we shouldnā€™t go through life naively. We cannot change the seasons, but we can look at every adversity with optimism and dig out the good in it.

When my father died, I never stayed on the floor crying my life away. The news of his sudden death knocked me to the ground; thank God I landed on my back, not my face. For as long as I was able to look up, I was able to get up from that tragedy. And I have often said that my dad’s passing brought out the fighter in me.

Keep going, keep fighting, keep giving your best, and until death knocks on your door, refuse to give up the promises of God for your life (Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a futureā€¦ “)

“All that you can do is all that you can do. And all that you can do is enough. But make sure you do all you can do”.

Here are six famous quotes about accepting reality and dealing with it:

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Nelson Mandela

“Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.” Sonia Ricotti

“Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.” Charles R. Swindoll

“The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.” Nathaniel Branden

“You have within you right now, everything you need to deal with whatever the world can throw at you.” Brian Tracy

“The only way to deal with fear is to face it head on.” Jordan Belfort

Your whole life can change from just one decision. And the best decision you’ll ever make in your life is to accept whatever curve ball life throws at you and turn the damn ball into your source of joy and fulfilment.
